Lucky Ducky Week

With special thanks to our event sponsors and local businesses participating in this year's Lucky Ducky Duck Hunt, Family Strengths Network is pleased to announce kick-off our our event. Here are the details:

It's a community wide scavenger hunt...

Find a Duck, Share the Duck:

snap a picture in person or a screenshot if on the web;
post to your social media (we are on Facebook & Instagram) with a tag and the hashtag #LDD2020 and/or #LuckyDuckyDay2020

But that's not all...

Point System is as follows (score card image is below):

• 5 points for each duck you find online via the business website
• 10 points for each duck you find in-person at a participating location
• 20 points for making a purchase at that participating location *a snapshot of your receipt, just the date & location will suffice; must be included*

We want to use this opportunity to support the community that supports us, so the more online chatter you can make - the better!

The hunt starts on the 14th with the winner announced on Facebook on Saturday, the 26th to wrap up FSN's Lucky Ducky Week festivities. The most points recorded will receive a gift basket of goodies with around $100 of gift cards to local businesses. There will also be 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Score cards must be submitted by Friday, the 25th at 9pm.

Kits for Lucky Ducky Week can be picked up at FSN during operating hours starting Thursday, September 17th.

Kits include:

• 3 STEM activities
• a craft
• scavenger hunt scorecard
• some other goodies

FSN will also raffle several gift baskets.
Donations are requested for kits and raffle tickets. For every $5 donated is a raffle entry (be sure to include your name with your donation).

The following is an example of what your dollars can help fund.

• $10 pays for a Lucky Ducky Day Kit
• $25-$40 pays for a Book or Toy for the libraries
• $50- $75 covers the cost of an instructor for one event
• $100 pays tuition for a parenting class
