Keep your child's play varied without buying new toys! Our Toy Lending Library contains nearly 1,000 toys, activities, and games for children of all ages. We also have literacy backpacks - see below for details. Toys may be checked out for two weeks at a time. Great for families with little ones visiting, too!

Types of toys and activities in the Toy Library include:

• A large variety of building toys (different kinds of blocks, magnetic tiles, connectors)
• Baby & toddler toys (rattles, blocks, pull toys, stackers, musical instruments, and more)
• Pretend and learning play (play food, dolls and doll accessories, matching & sorting, action figures, animals, etc)
• Games - educational games, family board games, card games
• Outdoor toys/activities
• Baby gear - bouncers, activity centers, table boosters, baby bath supports, strollers
• Travel activities - toys and other activities for the road, plane, or train: low mess, magnetic, few or no loose pieces, road trip games
• Puzzles

Literacy Backpacks

The goal of the Literacy Backpack Program is to promote early literacy in Northern NM homes in tangible ways. Each backpack is based on a theme and features one or more books as well as a toy or family activity to help reinforce the topics. Backpacks can be checked out for two weeks.
