Parenting with Love and Logic for Parents of Early Childhood KidsSet a parenting pattern for the future with techniques that can last into the teen years. Learn to respond to temper tantrums, set boundaries, and establish healthy control without resorting to anger, threats, nagging, or exhausting power struggles. Responding to babies’ needs in a balanced and caring way can help develop trust. Having an appropriate amount of responsibility and solving some of their own problems building children’s confidence and skills, and lets them practice decision-making in a safe, loving environment. We will also discuss putting an end to misbehavior in public, smoothing out daily routines, and calming sibling battles. Love & Logic is an evidence-based class. There will be time built into class to meet other parents and learn what has worked and hasn’t worked for them. Karen Brown is a professional doula and the co-facilitator of Birth talk.
