In a playful, educational, language-rich environment, caregivers and children will build their American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary, play games, read books, sing, and have fun! Infants can communicate through sign language long before they can verbalize their needs. Baby sign language reduces frustration, accelerates verbal development and strengthens cognitive skills. My Smart Hands™ classes are based on Joseph Garcia’s award winning Sign with your Baby™ program. Nina served as a sign language interpreter for ten years. She is currently the drama director at Los Alamos High School.
