Easy Recipes and Fun Dinners: Cookbooks for Checkout at the Beth Ladino Family Resource Library

Family Strengths Network's Beth Ladino Family Resource Library contains over 1,200 resources on a wide range of topics including physical and emotional special needs, gifted education, pregnancy, preemies, multiple births, parenting, fatherhood, adoption, positive discipline, media literacy, teen issues, divorce, step-families, eldercare, substance abuse, home organization, family crafts, and many more subjects pertaining to healthy families and healthy living. The library also includes a section of children’s books and videos.

February's featured topic is recipes for delicious, quick and easy cooking. The Library's cookbooks hold a wealth of information on preparing meals in a snap. The collection has basic cookbooks with all our old favorite recipes and bold new cookbooks packed full of four ingredient dinners and 30-minute meals. There are several cookbooks for children, too. So, turn off the TV and have the family join you in the kitchen to make a delicious hot meal on a cold wintry night. Or how about cooking a Valentine’s Day buffet?

Everyone is welcome to come in and relax in the Library's living-room setting. There is a play area adjacent to the Library for younger children to enjoy while parents browse through the collection. LAPS teachers, administrators and counselors are welcome to call and check-out resources over the phone and have them sent through inter-campus mail.
