The twos don’t have to be terrible! There are lots of ways to encourage positive behavior and avoid power struggles. Different techniques work for different kids, depending on their individual temperament and developmental stage. In this lively, interactive class, Ms. Moss will share these tips and more, including how much cooperation to expect from toddlers and preschoolers, relationships with siblings, dealing with daily routines, fears, and tantrums, and taking care of ourselves as parents. Ms. Moss has been working with young children and their families for 35 years, including 25 years at Little Forest Playschool. She teaches early childhood courses to educators and parents at Santa Fe Community College, Northern New Mexico College, and UNM-LA. Jen contracts with many early childhood education centers in NM to teach and advise staff.
